This 3-day Zanzibar getaway is based at a beachfront hotel in Nungwi, on the island's northern tip, known for its powder-white sand and calm turquoise water. In between beach days, you'll spend a full day exploring Stone Town, Zanzibar's UNESCO-listed old city, with a guided walk through its winding alleys, markets and historic buildings.

You'll stay both nights at a beachfront hotel in Nungwi. Additional accommodation before or after can be arranged for an extra cost.
Arrival & Transfer to Nungwi
You'll be met on arrival at Zanzibar's Abeid Amani Karume International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Nungwi, on the island's northern tip — around a 1–1.5 hour drive.
The rest of the day is free to settle in, relax on the beach and watch the sunset over the Indian Ocean.
Stone Town Tour
After breakfast, you'll be driven south to Stone Town, Zanzibar's historic old city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A local guide will walk you through its narrow alleyways, past the House of Wonders, the Old Fort, the Old Slave Market and its memorial, and the famous carved Zanzibari doors.
You'll also pass through the local markets, with time to browse spices, textiles and souvenirs, before being driven back to your hotel in Nungwi for the evening.
Free Morning & Departure
Enjoy a final free morning at the beach or by the pool before checking out. You'll be transferred back to the airport in time for your onward flight, marking the end of your Zanzibar stay.

- Zanzibar is reached by a short flight (roughly 45–75 minutes) from Arusha, Kilimanjaro or Dar es Salaam — flights are not included and should be booked separately or added to your quote.
- Additional accommodation before and at the end of the trip can be arranged for an extra cost.
- Stone Town is a conservative, historic town — modest dress covering shoulders and knees is appreciated, especially near mosques and religious sites.
- A Tanzania e-Visa is required for most nationalities and covers Zanzibar as well as the mainland — apply at immigration.go.tz at least 3 weeks before travel.
- A yellow fever certificate may be required depending on your transit country.

Yes. Additional nights in Nungwi or elsewhere on the island can be arranged for an extra cost — just let us know when booking.
Stone Town is a historic, largely Muslim town, so modest clothing covering shoulders and knees is recommended, particularly around mosques and religious buildings. Beachwear is fine back at your hotel in Nungwi.
Most nationalities need a Tanzania e-Visa, available at immigration.go.tz, which also covers Zanzibar. A yellow fever certificate may be required depending on your transit country.
